Mission fuel choices can have more context than a single posted price.

Business aviation crews and operators may work with mission requirements, fuel pricing, FBO fees, fuel required to waive fees, aircraft limits, and downstream stops when making fuel decisions. These inputs can interact in ways that make the lowest posted fuel price different from the lowest evaluated mission cost.
